The story revolves around Noora going through a lot of traumatic incidents, who is been forced to marry and in due course finds herself trapped in loveless marriage, she has been through lots ups and downs in life and trying to hold back together by taking a decision and from there the quest to the self discovery begins.

As Karachi burned in the 1990s, the painfully shy Noor Kamal found refuge in an antique jade mirror stolen from Daisy, her social butterfly mother.

4. The book is definitely a page turner with lots of surprises to keep the readers hooked.
5. The storyline is gripping.
6. Noor's character is artistically developed.
7. The consequences of the forced marriage is rightfully explained.
8. The emotions are perfectly expressed. 
9. Overall a really intriguing read.
